NATURAL GAS / OIL Report:
 
AES Ocean Express, CP02-90-000, CP02-91-000, CP02-92-000 and CP02-93-000 (2/21/02) -- Section 7(c)  proposal to construct, own, operate and maintain a new 24-inch diameter, approximately 52.4-mile interstate natural gas pipeline, beginning at a receipt point on the Exclusive Economic Boundary ("EEZ") between the United States and The Bahamas and terminating at a delivery point in Broward County, Florida.  Ocean Express proposes a design capacity to transport up to 842,000 dekatherms per day of natural gas.  Associated non-jurisdictional facilities will be constructed by Bahamian affiliate, AES Ocean LNG, Ltd., in Bahamian waters and on Ocean Cay, Bahamas, consisting of an approximately 40.4-mile 24-inch diameter pipeline interconnecting with Ocean Express and extending from the EEZ boundary to Ocean Cay, and a liquefied natural gas receiving, storage and regasification facility on Ocean Cay.  Section 3 Presidential Permit application also filed.
